Attorney Gorman is a 1985 graduate of Denison University where he received his B.A. in Economics.  He also graduated from Boston College Law School in 1988.  Mr. Gorman began his legal career at the Boston law firms of Murphy, DeMarco & O’Neill, P.C. and Burns & Levinson, LLP where he focused on the defense of personal injury cases and the defense of professional negligence cases against engineers and architects.  Mr. Gorman then became National Litigation Counsel for Raytheon Engineers & Constructors and was responsible for the defense of all personal injury and professional negligence claims asserted against Raytheon in the United States and abroad.  Since leaving Raytheon, Mr. Gorman has continued his focus on the defense of personal injury cases and professional negligence cases at the Boston law firms of Donovan Hatem, LLP. and Bonner, Kiernan, Trebach & Crociata, LLP.  Over the years he has developed a significant practice in the defense of construction/engineering claims.   Mr. Gorman advises professional engineering and architecture firms on risk avoidance and risk management.  Mr. Gorman is an experienced civil litigator in both the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and Connecticut.  Mr. Gorman is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Colorado.
