Attorney Moretti was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1988.  Mr. Moretti was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the  District of Massachusetts and U.S. Court of Appeals for the  First Circuit in 1989. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1994. Mr. Moretti was graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1978 and received his Masters in Business Administration in 1980. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.  Mr. Moretti earned a Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1988. He is the Recipient of Amos L. Taylor Service and Scholarship Award and was the  Editor-in-Chief of the New England Law Review  (1987–1988). He joined Parker Coulter in 1988 and became a Partner in 1993.  He also served as an Instructor at New England School of law from 1989 to 1995. Mr. Moretti is a member of both the  Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. Mr. Moretti has focused his practice on appellate litigation, insurance law, construction law, premises liability, products liability, toxic torts, railroad law, transportation law, and workers’ compensation law. He is an active practitioner at the Supreme Judicial Court, Appeals Court and Reviewing Board of the Department of Industrial Accidents. Mr. Moretti is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a frequent contributor to MCLE on motor vehicle torts and workers’ compensation law.
