Attorney O’Reilly is a 1967 graduate of Boston College.  After a period of military service, he graduated from Boston College Law School in 1972.  He began his legal career as staff counsel to the Travelers Insurance Company.  In 1976 he joined Parker, Coulter, Daley & White where he remained a general partner until he became a founding partner of Curtin, Murphy & O’Reilly in 1995.  Over the years he has developed a significant practice in the defense of occupational injury claims, particularly in the area of occupational disease and toxic exposure claims both in Massachusetts and under the provisions of the Long Shore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.  He is also an experienced civil litigator in state and federal courts and has been Massachusetts counsel to several national corporations on toxic exposure claims.  He is AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys.  He has also been named a Super Lawyer by the Law & Politics Institute and was added to the roster of the “Best Lawyers in America” by Woodward/White.  Mr. O’Reilly is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
