Attorney Murphy is a 1963 graduate of Boston College and a 1970 graduate of the New England School of Law and was senior editor of the Law Journal. He joined Parker, Coulter, Daley & White (“Parker Coulter”) in 1971. He became a General Partner in the firm in 1980. In 1991, he became the Manager of the fifteen-attorney Occupational Injury Department at the firm. In April 1993, he was elected as the Managing Partner of Parker, Coulter and continued in that position until he resigned in September of 1995. Mr. Murphy’s practice has involved the litigation of industrial injury claims. Mr. Murphy is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has been added to the roster of the Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White and listed as one of Boston’s Best Lawyers by the Boston Globe and Boston Magazine.
